Whispered Wanderings

I thank you for your service yesterday.
And trust the universe to have begun
the transmutation process, that will free
you from the feelings you don’t understand.
I knew before I asked you that it would,
and hope that you knew too; the reason why,
you humbly played the role of willing host.

You’re welcome love, indeed it has begun.
It’s true, at first I didn’t understand.
But now I do; your feelings became mine
for just a little while. And then a light
shone down upon me opening a door
I didn’t know was there. I felt the pain
suddenly become the light itself,
then move back through the door leaving behind,
a warmth of soul I’ve never felt before.
